I was checking an Alison Angel FHG just now and noticed that if I clicked the 2257 link at the bottom on the 2257 page it has a fucking enormous ENTER HERE FPA that appears to carry no affiliate code...

It is a fucking ccbill program. Cookie is already set, tracking is in place. Unless they are over righting your shit you will get full credit.

if the cookie is set at the gallery then why is there affiliate ID's on every single link to the tour? Seems a tad unnecessary to me.

Cookie isn't set from from the fhg. They have to click a link to set the cookie. Click the 2257 page, then the enter button, join page, view source, no ccbill id there :disgust

Ummm just checked it, insert my code, go to FHG, hit 2257 link, click join, hit credit card, view page source at ccbill and search for code. And no code.

No one wants to link to galleries that way since every gallery hit gets counted in the stats and thus you don't know what type of ratios you're getting.

If it is a hosted gallery, that is the point you are handing the surfer off to be converted right? So in essence it is just another part of the tour and should be gauged in the sponsors ability to convert.

i do my own galleries about 50% of the time. I just figured that something like this should be addressed.

And yeah I know the % of surfers that click the 2257 link is like .5% but still... if I sent them to the gallery I deserve the sale if it happens

If someone only ever used the free hosted galleries and only ever 1 template at any given time, then maybe there'd be some value in that. But most of us have a variety of ways we send traffic to the site. We want to see how the site/tour converts on clicked traffic to the site.

I've never seen anyone want to link to hosted galleries thru a ccbill link. But I have seen plenty of people NOT use hosted galleries because they do it that way.

It's annoying as hell and a lot of times I reject galleries that have 2257 links going to pages like that. I also really like when sponsors decide to get sneaky and replace their 2257 page with a banner farm.

FTV Cash is a horrible program. They have over 14,000 fhgs, hundreds of hosted movie galleries, hosted free sites, movie of the day, a hosted blog and Chris on icq way to many hours a day. And that is not all. In addition to the 180 models on ftv girls, FTV Cash has solo girl sites like Fiona Luv, Lia 19 and Alison Angel (as mentioned by Spermy)

So fuck FTV Cash. They suck and you will never make money on the program!

Who clicks a fucking 2257 link looking for porn?

This is retarded its a custodian of records link, in over four years I look at the referring urls everyday. There has never once been a join from that page. LOL if someone is clicking that link they are not looking for porn they are looking for legal contact info. The header image is what FTV started with back in the day and represents where we came from (as you can see the tour has come a really long way). Plus that girl is beautiful.

people click the "webmasters" links looking for porn... people change numbers in urls looking for porn... when I was young I dug through a dresser drawer of my father's underwear looking for porn.

a ton of FHG's have it set that way and I personally never considered it to be a leak. As stated throughout the thread, no one looking for porn is going to click on a 2257 link then sign up.

push what sells for you, move on to the next sponsor if they don't. personally i'm grateful for everybody out there that doesn't push FTV, keep up the good work :)

Why don't you just fix the damn thing so all us whiney little bitches have nothing to complain about. If you have people that know what they're doing, shouldn't take more than an hour or even less and you'll look like top notch people.

I agree with Lagwagon. I find it highly unlikely that anyone looking to buy into a membership based site would be clicking on a 2257 link.

"Fix" implies something is broken. I think anybody who has been an FTV affiliate for any length of time would argue that there isn't much they could do to make the site or the program better.

i agree im sure not many people click thru it but it is a pr5 , most people cream their pants for an adult pr5 :) it must get some hits..
