ATTN: Ryan from Adultwebgraphics

Ryan, would you like to talk about the status of all our PSDs 1) here 2) privately on the phone or 3) with my attorney while we consider suing you?

I've been patient enough. Choose how you wanna play this, but choose wisely.

Steve Lightspeed

Steve I should let you know in case you have not learned this yet in this business;)

Web designers by nature are very unlucky people. While working on projects they will either encounter a break up with girlfriend or wife, family who came into town unexpectanly, one of their granparents could die, there brother could be arrested and they are trying to bail him out.
Of course if they live in the northeast perhaps a blizzard shut him and his power off or if the are in the southeast perhaps a hurricane ripped the roof of his house.

Either way I am sure in 2 weeks you should hear the appropriate excuse.

Hopefull you get them ;)

Spunky 12-05-2006 09:21 PM

I have yet to meet a designer who could deliver on time..when they say 2 weeks..expect it maybe in 5..I think many take on too much and become overwhelmed

Princess Ellisa 12-05-2006 09:27 PM

It sounds to me like maybe he isn't waiting for the psds like perhaps Ryan has in fact shared the PSDS that he created for Steve with some other clients?

Tanker 12-05-2006 09:27 PM

Daruma 12-05-2006 10:36 PM

by the silence of things so far - perhaps the posting of the thread already solved the problem ??

SteveLightspeed 12-05-2006 10:38 PM

Nope, the silence is making it much worse...

CaptainHowdy 12-05-2006 10:41 PM

Well said. If a family member of mine wanted to become a designer, I'd tell him not to. It seems that once someone becomes one, everyone in the family dies multiple times in the course of a couple years. But there are also some very important issues that potential web designers should know about in advance.

1) Your hard drive is likely to crash on a bi-weekly basis or once per project near the end.

2) Your internet connection is surely to go down for a few days during each project you take.

3) Your immune system will take a horrible turn for the worse as you come down with every known illness in the course of a year.

These issues stretch outside the design world and also inflict a percentage of the programmer population. :thumbsup

For somebody who I've personally heard bitch and moan about people going public with anything like this....I find this thread pretty funny.

I've used Ryan for various projects over the last few years and he has always done a good job. In fact, he has also praised Steve to me on an occasion or two. :2 cents:
