SEO 101 - hard link trades
So many people trade hard links and have no idea what they're doing, I'm far from being SEO expert but this is VERY basic:
say you have an Asian blog myreallylameasianblog.com and you request a link, what many people do is they ask for a link to myreallylameasianblog.com with anchor text "my really lame asian blog"
Guess what - nobody searches for "my really lame asian blog" on Google, Yahoo etc, so you should rather target what people DO search for, in this case go to:
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/su...ian&country=us
type "Asian" and depending on how strong you think you can take your blog/site choose a keyphrase from the top 1-20, and then when you request a link ask for a link to myreallylameasianblog.com with anchor text "Asian pussy" or something similar. Asking for "deep links" is not a bad idea either - ask for a link back to your posts with your post title as anchor text.
Hope that helps, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
