Hi i'm nick one of hte owners of deviantclip and the crakmedia network.
First i want to apologize publicly for this misusing of your content, i was not aware of how precious those clip are for you. clips are already removed. We didn't steal the content , Lisa give us an account to pick content for promotion on dachix. I forwarded the infos to my media guys and told them not to use stuff longer than 1 min intro outro included. But i forgot to tell them to make sure clips are approved by lighspeedcash , so they saw the clips jumped on it, made some teasers and published them on deviantclip and you know the rest. I know that we didn't respect the deal and since my worker represent me , i'm all guilty and i understand your mad at me. I broke your TOS and your were all in your right closing my account. I work wit many sposnors around here and all can tell you that i'm a good guy and that always make good legitimate sales. I'll be happy to prove you ,that i can work right and be a perfect affiliate. I will contact you in the next few days, i understand you may be piss off enought to say no to any 2nd chance, but i'll try anyway cause i know we can do good biz and that i'm not a bad guy , even if i still use aff... and Yeah jordan is hot as Hell and his husband is one lucky bastard, you are all jealous. |
Nik, with all due respect, I think that also having the stuff on pages packed with other sponsors links and only a single link to lightspeed is a bit, well, abusive of the companies providing content. If you want to promote AFF or sell links to adbrite, let them provide content or go out and buy some.
For me, it is a total abuse of the free content setup. |

The abuse was not only in the type and amount of content that was used, nor the ONLY ONE LINK ON THE PAGE to us, but he had the fucking balls to add his own url to it! That infuriates me to no end. He asked permission to do this, we allowed ONE as a TEST, and said no to any more long before Jordan's video surfaced. How did that turn us into his free content supply? FUCK THAT!!
And yes, I'm PISSED, I am considering suing him for copyright violations, to SEND A LOUD AND CLEAR MESSAGE to people that this is NOT A FUCKING GAME, and we are not going to sit idle and watch as our profits and ratios go to hell. This clip was approved by Lisa and my media guy thinked he could do the same with any content, i forgot to tell him to get it approved. My error , but we are not stealing content and i always respect the rules sponsors request me to fallow. You can ask Lisa , I'm always pointing out site that steal your content and i'm working hard to make all those bloggers signup up to programs and promote the content they have on their sites wit hthe right banner and links. |
and theres 3 links leading to lighspeed ,the title , the big thumbs and the banner, i know i have lots of tother stuff on the page but i know if the guy wanted to visit her site , he would click on the banner or pictures or type in the address.
We are already working on the new versions of the sites to make them more sponsors friendly, those set up are old and were made when we had no experience in the biz and we are totally aware that some of you dont like it. We will make sure every sposnors we deal with are ok with the way we do it as we did before this big mistake. |

Here are my :2 cents:
I've worked with niktamer for years now and he has always been awesome with me. He's always asked me what content he can use before he uses it. If one of his workers fucked up and he admitted fault, then he should be forgiven in my opinion. I also know Steve, and worked with his program for years too. I love both these guys, and hopefully it can all be worked out peacefully. :thumbsup |

dachix asked me for some content from our site one time I was about to give it to them, until I saw like 2 small and 1 medium sized links is all I would get on their page FULL of hundreds of other sponsor links....plus, they put their url on the beginning of each video, I am not down with that either

I personally think that this sort of setup is bad for sponsors, and bad for affiliates that tend to follow the rules.
