Webcam help Please! Boob PICS inside tooo!
 

I am considering starting live webcam chat from my site but I have run into a few big problems I hope some of you guys can help me with.

I want to run it without any of the big cam companies involved. I have the software to run locally on my own PC. The problem is my upload time where I live is not fast enough (510/2000), so I will have to run it on my server at Webair (streaming I think its called).

I can find loads of software that can do it on a Mac platform but no software that can run it on a PC platform. And I need software for a PC platform.

I can also find lots of software that offer you the possibility to start your own camsite. The thing is I only want it as a feature on my site and not to have a whole webcamsite.

I hope you guys understand what I mean, its kind of hard to explain when Im not a tech geek:winkwink:

I would really appreciate any help or suggestions.

You said you have the software than you said that you can't find the software to run on PC.
All the programs you find on the internet for sale can be easily integrated into a website to be part of it. So that's not an issue.
I think the main issue is the price, as they are quite expensive.

Sorry, all the tech guys are ass men.

I know you mentioned not wanting to run with one of the main guys however I am going to give my two cents from someone who used to run cam from her own site up until recently. I know it can be a pain in the ass however if you are running a website it is very difficult to do a lot of cam per week (which you will need for member retention) I would stick with someone like camz which is who i used to go through. I believe they only require 2 hours a week and you get everyone elses streams to use as well so its well worth dealing with a few of the chat ass holes in order to keep your members. Also you dont have to deal with any of the high bandwidth cost for running your own stream.
