Too Much Media announces RSSdish! Create RSS feeds from NATS or any source you wish!

Too Much Media is very happy to announce that its newest product, RSSdish, has been moved into public beta.

RSSdish gives you the ability to create an unlimited number of bot static and dynamic RSS feeds. Static feeds allow you to create an unlimited number of items (articles) written by an unlimited number of authors or yourself. For the dynamic feeds you can setup the items to be automatically pulled from multiple database tables simultaneously.

Admins have the ability to setup an unlimited number of groups in RSSdish. Each feed can then be assigned to a specific group. The editing of the items in each feed is restricted to the authors who have permissions within that group or that specific feed. You can create an unlimited number of author accounts who will each have their own login and can publish to feeds they have permissions for by logging into the RSSdish system.

Dynamic feeds, a feature we are very excited about, are setup so that they can pull directly from the NATS database and display the information directly from a specific reseller?s login. All of the information available in NATS can now be sent to each affiliate through an RSS feed.

Each feed has a unique string that identifies that feed. This means that each feed can have its own URL which displays the XML source.

You may also set up an HTML view of the feed which is fully templated. This means you can use RSSdish to power a blog or any other website where data is regularly updated or published to.

Advanced Features:

* Pull information directly from any database.
* Use Smarty code in any part of your feeds.
* Create access levels for your employees.
* View and save your favorite external feeds.
* All feeds can be cached by smarty to speed up loading time.
* Each Group can have its own set of templates for the HTML displays.
* Feed URL?s do not need to be the same as RSSdish admin domain.
* And much more.

This product is currently in public Beta. We are announcing and releasing this system for those who want to adopt it early and work with it from the ground up. This system is already an extremely powerful method of generating RSS feeds and will only continue to become more unique and powerful.

Pricing for this system is set at $30/month or $600 one time. During the public beta period there will be no install and training fee but you will receive both a full install and a training session over the phone as we do with all of our products. After the public beta period there will be a minimal install and training fee.

There is no website yet for more information on this software, so if you would like further information please either contact myself, John, at icq: 5596373 or albright[]toomuchmedia[]com or Fred, at icq: 343331732 or fred[]toomuchmedia[]com.

We look forward to some feedback!

Sweet! Good job there!

Thanks guys.

This is not product only for NATS users. It can be used as a standalone RSS app or integrate with any database to deliver any data via RSS. If anyone is interested in knowing more, NATS client or not, please hit me up.

do you have any example sites using dish?

Miguel T 12-09-2006 12:21 PM

Very nice product!

Rui 12-09-2006 12:51 PM

This can surely increase even further the value of programs using NATS ;)

Why wouldn't you include that free to NATS clients? Seems odd to nickel and dime them by adding an extra $30 or is that normal to add extra upsells to NATS clients? And I'm saying this because at only $30 extra it just seems like you'd throw that in at no cost.

We lease all of our products at about 1/20th the purchase price.

This is an entirely separate product. It has its own admin, its own install, etc. It is not even a module.

It can be used with NATS directly. Alongside NATS without integrating the two. Or even by someone who isn't a user of NATS.

Looks awesome... I need to get with you guys about moving my Carma/Nats install to a new server this week, think we can knock out this upgrade at the same time?

Can this software integrate with SiteDepth 4 CMS? If so, I'm interested in a solution to make the updates show as RSS feeds for our solo model sites. Email ([email protected]) or ICQ (35917543) me please.

we did a little testing of it while in beta and we'll be using it with both Satancash and Mobbucks .. great product

Thanks Mike. Feedback from you guys has been a big help. Your quickness to embrace new things keeps MobBucks & SatanCash at the cutting edge.

It can make live data from any database into very usable RSS feeds. Its a neat way of doing it we came up with. I will have Fred ICQ you on Monday to go over the details.

This is a separate product not an upgrade. But it is only $30/mo. Thats cheaper than most porn sites, lol. If you're interested we can get it installed during the move, yes.

Also, to anyone who might be interested. If you take the lease at $30/mo and are unhappy with it or decide you can't use it I have no problem refunding you.
