There were also allegations that Gen Pinochet and his son Marco Antonio Pinochet made money from cocaine smuggling, charges which the family denied.

Cocaine smuggling??? They were head-deep in talcum powder which was used to finance a reign of terror and torture. It was not just one or two bags of the white stuff - it was truckloads, - and, ironically all with the agreement of the then US Admin who turned a blind eye re their "war on drugs" while the CIA helped smooth the way, - but still remembered to lock their kids up for marijuana.
Marco Antionio needs to answer some questions from Chilean prosecutors - his time will come :)
