Porn Shooting In Fla Over???

Re: Ray Guhn case

Guhn's attorney is Lawrence Walters. And, according to Walters, the case could very well shut down the production of adult entertainment filming in the state of Florida. Not only that, it could prompt other state governments to initiate a round of anti-pornography actions.

Any of the Florida based shooters afraid or making any other plans yet?

That truly does suck. I'm not a huge fan of Ray Guhn's stuff...but it sucks that the government is trying to outlaw porn at every turn.

This doesn't sound good...even if you aren't from florida...pretty scary !

Fat Panda 12-10-2006 07:22 PM

Yea that was gonna be my follow up... If the state of Florida does win this case how many other states are going to follow suite and try to shut down producers in their states? It could get REALLY ugly..

Can we all sue ray guhn for being reckless and fucking it up for the rest of us?

squishypimp 12-10-2006 08:53 PM

alot of shooting goes on in florida, that would put a dent in the industry :(

Jace 12-10-2006 09:01 PM

what I love is the fact that they are basically outlawing sex

you can have sex
you can have a camera filming you having sex
but if someone else is filming it and going to put it on a dvd for others to see, it is illegal

wtf? LOL

OH OH OH...and don't forget that most child rapists spend less than a year in jail....so you can film yourself having sex and go to court for years and possibly jail for a long time, but if you rape a child you will be out in less than a year

You are very right but the problem here is they were pissing off the locals in a town thats not porn friendly so they got fucked.
Bang Bus has been on the TV news, newspaper articles, Score has a big fucking building in the middle of a office park and no one has bothered them why?because they shoot where people dont care.
Now I know people will cry this is America you should be able to shoot where ever you want but in the real world there are places that are more porn friendly than others. People want to be pioneers in places that dont want it plan on being attacked by the indians.

JP-pornshooter 12-11-2006 12:33 PM

So basically they are saying that because he hired the models to have sex with him on camera, it is prostitution ?

I thought all along that it is really only legal to shoot porn in california where they had the trial separating prostitution from pornography, and that producers in other states like florida and nevada were just "chancing" and trying to stay under the radar..

There is no doubt that if the ruling on this case could have serious implications for the adult industry, companies like LFP will have their atty standing in line to support this guy.
