Best Hotel in Vegas ?
I'll be staying a few extra days in Vegas after InetrNext and I don't really like the Mandalay...what is the best Hotel in reasonnalbe prices ?
How is Treasure Island ? |
Treasure Island is cool, they have pirates, and pirates are cool.
I went to Vegas alot when I was in collage, I was even banned from vegas heh, but now that I'm Prez-o-dent I can go back. ~W~ |
wynn
Mr. Romance |
Treasure Island ROCK !
|
Wynn is by far the best place to stay.
|
How is the green valley ranche?
|
The Wynn!
Followed by: Bellagio, the Venetian inho! |

I heard the Wynn was nice, but for the price there's better places.
|
if you want off the strip the JW marriott in summerlin is really nice too, got a casino right next to it as well.
|
We stayed at the Signature @ MGM last September. VERY VERY NICE hotel ..
But it depends on what you call "reasonable" price ;) http://www.signaturemgmgrand.com/ |

Wynn is so pretentious... So is the Venetian, but at least it has a nice theme.
|
must say i enjoy luxor myself.. flamingo is too old but the location is good and cheaper than most..
|
I LOVE the Venetian, but I haven't had a chance to stay at the Wynn. Try the Wynn and let me know what you think compared to the Venetian.
|
Wynn sucks, IMO. I was just there a month or so ago and the rooms are average at best, service is awful, and the cleaning staff was actually taking things OUT of my bathroom instead of replacing things. The only good thing I can say about the Wynn is that the slots are close to the restaurants ;)
For the money, TheHotel is still my favorite. It used to be Venetian, but I like the wet bar, the extra toilet, the big TV and the DVD player at TheHotel. Plus they are the ONLY hotel I've stayed at that has an actual DESK chair at the desk :) I've heard the suites at The Aladin that face the Bellagio fountains are nice too. These are not high end recommendation, like the Skylofts and such - just recommedations for regular folk ;) |
I really liked the Hard Rock, it didn't feel like we were staying in Vegas because it was off the strip a bit.
I would stay there again in a minute :) DH P.S. I hate the Mandalay as well :( |
it's all subjective. depends on what you're looking for in a hotel. good casino?? good restaurants?? good clubs/bars??
that's the beautiful thing about Vegas, there's something for everyone!! |

Agreed I think Mandalay sucks ass |

Mandalay's biggest issue, IMO, is that the restaurants are SO far away from the rooms. You need a taxi just to get to them. Wynn was good about that because everything's right there. BTW, Le Reve - worst show evah. Edit: Wynn also doesn't make you walk 10 blocks to get from the front desk to the hotel elevators. |
Joel - What Up?
How about Casa de VegasKen? If you want to get away from the strip, Try Green Valley Ranch or Red Rock Hotel. Otherwise, Look for a deal at The Bellagio, MGM, Paris, Venetian, Mirage, Treasure Island, Ceasers Palace. |
If you are just looking for a classy place then stay at Wynn
If you are looking for a cool place to chill and relax then stay at Treasure Island If you are looking for a place to party and nail random 21 year olds then stay at Palms |
RedRock is brand new and very nice

There are a couple of really good restaurants there but that's about it. |

Myself being a regular to Vegas, I agree with this post a lot.. Yes, TI is the best bang for the buck.. If thats what you are looking for Id do that... And Palms along with Hardrock are great for hot whores... The Wynn, Four Seasons, Venitian and Beligio are the classy places.. Mandlay Bay thinks it's classy and charges classy prices, but in my opinion its just a little above the TI.... Between the two go TI.. ITs centered in the strip better surrounded by places you want to be, and the price is perhaps the best value in town.. Nice place and great pricing for the quality. |
Too bad the Klondike shut down :winkwink:
|
Cool...great advices !
Thanks ... |
Lenny2 and I went into The Wynn just to check it out and walked out within 10 minutes. The staff there is rude and the atmosphere is very pretentious. Based on the various other comments here about The Wynn, I don't think we'll ever stay there.
Although we've never stayed at the Venetian, I'm very impressed with it. The place smells wonderful and the Grand Lux restaurant has never served a bad dish. I also love the Grand Canal Shoppes. |
Hey Joel do you have icq
hit me up please 281 959 162 |
We like MGM and Wynn. MGM has gone a bit down in the past few year.
The Elvis Hilton front desk workers told me that it has mostly old people staying there, so keep that in mind. Rio is all suites and has a kickass buffet, but the casino is dank. Party people like the Palms and HardRock..... 2cents |
We stayed at Bellagio for a week. Very nice :thumbsup
|
Stayed at "The Hotel" a couple of months ago and had a great corner suite with great view of the strip and the cost was only $170 a night...
Always liked the Bellagio for food and hotel rooms but never gable their.. |
Classiest hotel: Bellagio
Trendiest hotel: Palms (check out the playboy tower) Biggest party hotel: Hard Rock Best hotel with a decent price: TI Newest Hotel: Wynn All Suite hotels: Venetian and the Rio Hope this helps :) |
Imperial Palace ... You won't find better prices on the strip. Centrally located with a direct entrance to the monorail. Convenient place to stay if you only need a room to store your shit.
