Dont buy from best buy online
 

I thought i could save myself a trip across town to the best buy store by just buying a damn camera online
and get it by today ..
so i saturday i placed an order
i expect it today ..
so i go check the status ... it was shipped today ... and will arrive tommorow or the next day ...
so much for the 30 bux in over night shipping charges right?

i needed the product toinght for an xmas party

i wish i would of just been unlazy and picked that ho up at the store

come on, it's kinda common sense that most companies don't ship on the weekends...

just go buy one for tonight and return it after you're done. FREE CAMERA for the night, sort of

well you need to order in advance. If not go to the store and pay more. but like to travel. Enjoy life bro. Christ has nothing to do.

He ordered it on Saturday and expected it to be shipped overnight on Monday and getting the package today. Nothing wrong with that.

you are telling me the shipping center isnt open 7 days a week ?
They cant process an order on saturday / sunday ??
I think it is a BS scam to get more money really
you pay for over night ... it should not take 4-5 days to arrive from time of order.

order online pickup at store if you have one right here. I don't have a local bestbuy, and they ship to be pretty good.

how can you buy a camera without checking it out at the store with your own hands?

We bought Camera Nikon on E-bay. I don't know why, but i am pretty sure it will come after all New Year holidays.

Yeah, I don't typically rely on shipping estimations.... especially around the holidays... distribution centers are always backed up.

I hope you plan to reclaim your overnight shipping charge however!

Shipping centers on weekends usually run on minimal orders. They only work 6 or so hours on Saturday and there's usually a cut-off time. Did you meet the cut-off time?

I have ordered several large appliances from Best Buy online and have never had any problem. In fact, I always received them far ahead of schedule.

Now Home Depot on the other hand, stay away!

It's Christmas time and you expect orders in 1 day, just because you order overnight doesn't mean you get it the next available day. It just means when it ships you get it the next day.

A friend of mine does that with them...

We go to camping and he has the ultimate portable DVD player (circa 1998) and we are like, WTF? How can you afford to blow $1400 just like that?

He is like, "Fuck that, I can't afford it, I am gonna return it for a full refund when we get back and then get a camera and check it out for a few days..."

So he basically kept a rolling charge on his credit card while he played with all of the latest and greatest electronics... Then before it hits 25 days (and an interest charge) he fully returns it with a reverse on the charge.

Then it is back to square one again...

So what's the plan now? Disposable camera?

I've done transactions with BestBuy twice and I never had any problems about it so far. They were all on weekdays though.

pretty sure they dont do overnight on weekends, gotta say never did that, plus the fact bb is pretty expensive imho
