so I got bit by a hobo spider (with pics)
 

This weekend I got bit by some form of brown spider, the doc says its likely a hobo spider, there are a lot of em around here, and I thought I'd post some pics to freak you guys out. It bit me saturday, and the necrosis is already setting in :thumbsup

Goin pretty good. Got a shot and some antibiotics, the doc says its likely going to get worse before it gets better. I got the fevers and dizziness (a little) but nothing too bad. Definitely hurts like a bitch.

Damn..not to freak you out but there was a dude on here..I think his name was BJJB..bite by a recluse..that poor fuckers leg was terrible,looked like a shark took a chunk out of his leg and finally he died..not sure it was due to the complications of that bite..hope it wasn't a recluse man

Glad you are ok! There was another woman in Oregon w. same problem. They had to cut out 10lbs of skin and muscle on her tummy to stop necrosis. We're in Seattle and have never seen a live hobo only the look a likes brown recluse.

Take Care of yourself!

Do a thorough search on brown/recluse spider + stun gun. There is an unconventional treatment that involves shocking the involved area with a stun gun that has reported success.

I'm not advocating said treatment and don't know if it's safe, you're on your own.

But if I had one of these bites knowing how much worse it can get from here, I'd do some reading up on it.

Ya I remember donating to help him get a laptop not too long before he passed. Sounds like what happened was a heart attack brought on my complications from the spider bite, plus the weight problem and inactivity due to being bed ridden. :(

I got bit by a brown recluse(pretty much the same spider) on my back when I was a kid. They're not usually anything to really worry about unless you have an alergic reaction to it.

I don't normally mind spiders but that just sent a shiver down my spine! Other pics from that directory:

I hate spiders, earlier this fall we had about 10 wolf spiders fall in our window wells next too our basement windows. They couldn't get out and finally died.

Yeah it feels pretty sweet right now, that sucks some dude on here died from it already, so I wont be the first.

I feel ok so far, but I'm in the beginning stages of everything so who knows how far it can go. The doc says they can go away in 3-4 weeks, but that's pretty much "miracle" talk, its more likely to be a couple months or more.

I got the shot, and some antibiotics, and I have to come in and get it drained a few times. That should be a real fuckin picnic. I'll keep posting pics as they come.
