State Of Our Industry - What Do You Think? Why Do We Need Others To Tell Us This?

State of our industry....
What do you think?
Why do we need others to tell us what or something we already know?

What do you think?

What do I think?

Yes, pay no attention to all of the companies currently facing obscenity prosecutions that could result in dozens of years in prison.

Also pay no attention to the scores of companies that could right now be charged with felonies for clerical errors.

Nothing to see here........

I agree that the adult industry is facing wider public acceptance, and is gaining a more mainstream foothold in society.

Legally, however, right now is a very dangerous time of transition, and I fear many may get caught in the crossfire.

:warning Scare tactics! But you are probably right about those who keep sloppy or non-existant records, same goes for mainstream companies that screw around (Enron?)

State of the industry? Bricks and mortar side is fine and has been for decades.

Net adult is a joke and wide open to obscenity prosecution at any time - and chances are it always will be till it matures and the drones move back to McDonalds for employment.

PS BTW - What's that "over priced fear driven lawyers money" shit? :) Dream on!

Video biz is all set...

I have rang this bell about our biz getting its shit together, and forming as one company, not a fragmented bunch of pieces...but coming together as one giant group is powerful ...but it would see nobody cares about this kind of future thinking..so you might be right ....Mcdonalds....lol

We pay a lawyer ....and he does not charge us based on how much he can scare us into paying....we pay him for normal work and fees. That is what that meant.... :)

Mike,

Do you need others to tell us this? You bet your ass.

No matter how smart you are, how big your staff is, how much money you make.... there is always someone who knows more than you do. And you should always adjust your business practices to reflect the advice of those smarter than you (and I).

Mike, I'm not saying anyone is smarter than you - You seem pretty smart. But there are other smart people out there too and it's always good to hear what they think.
