Directnic - what they should do..
Directnic should not get involved in policing websites, cause then they can become liable because they "approved" a domains content etc.
They are a service provider and should do just that, provide service until authorities contact them. I'm not sure what happened, maybe authorities did contact them who knows. But they should police stuff as it could land them in even hotter water. I think they are just opening a can of worms. I do think they are a reputable company though, so I'm curious what the real story is. :2 cents: |
well, at this point I dont think the authorities contacted them.
If they had something on Slick they wouldn't be so stupid as to give him a warning. They'd go straight to his door. |

I agree, any complaints received should have been forwarded to the proper authorities. Ones who have the right to ask to see the records.
