Interesting.. I was checking one of my old sites recently and discovered a lot of urls in the SEs with subdomains that I don't have.. So I added in some htaccess stuff I had been putting off to fix that.. Now I have an idea why they might have been in there.

So if one has a link directory that uses a format for 1000s of outgoing links through a redirection script for tracking such as http://www.linkdirectory.com/redirect.php?site=2334 the site could get banned?
