why do some sponsors offer ONLY check payments?
 

seriously, since a few years wire transfers are a standard and since about 2 years, also Epassporte payments are more than common....
and yet still some sponsors offer only check payments ( f.e. GGWCash )

I can't understand their reasoning, I bet they would get significantly more webmasters promoting them if they offered alternate payment methods

I have had to pass up some very nice sponsors do to the fact of them only doing Epass payouts.

epass, wire, and check is the norm minimum these days

Keeping track of checks is a pain enough as is. I don't want to add wires and ePass to that.

Yeah, and to make things worse, some sponsors send checks without stubs. Man, that is such a huge pet peeve of mine.

I like to be paid by checks. It makes a nice handy paper trail.

Beside the sponsors who do not have the time/resources to add other payout options, then I guess the big ones really like the extra credit time checks give them. From mailing the check to the money is actual drawn from their accounts can take weeks = better credit, and better cashflow.

Wires are best - you have the mioney sitting in your bank account, and can use them without worry :2 cents:

I tried to sign up for one program that did wire or epass only.

I don't have a epass acct and my bank doesn't have a iban number. I couldn't complete my sign up.

I only do Epass.

US checks take 30 to 60 days to clear my bank. So fuck that.
