"Twas the night before Christmas" - The GFY Version
 

Hey everyone,

wanted to make sure everyone sees this, so dont mind the double post......
As usual, i was using the holidays to catch up on some of my writing projects and decided i needed a break from writing porn reviews, real estate seo text, sales text etc... you know? the same old shit i write everyday for you people.

I decided to write something a little creative for everyone here at GFY. all i basically did was rewrite the "Twas the night before Christmas", and applied to all of us here..... I hope you enjoy!!

Twas the night before Christmas, and all across the board,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a post whore.
The server was fast! What a surprise,
GFY was empty, except to my eyes.

The sponsors were nestled all snug with their cash,
While dreaming of more money to add to their stash.
And my wife in her jammies, and I in my shorts,
Had just fucked our brains out and smoked some Newports.

While reading the board I saw the same ole posts,
Messages about link trades, ad spots and free hosts.
I viewed posts for contests and saw pictures of boobies,
I found domains for sale and read questions from newbies.

As I browsed through the forums, I began to realize,
No board was better than GFY?s.
Whenever I?ve posted a question or problem,
GFY members have been there to answer or solve ?em.

Twenty-Four, Seven, three-sixty-five,
GFYers are posting, keeping the board alive.
Now Christmas is here, time to relax and unwind,
Some much needed time off, which is hard to find!

The day after Christmas will bring GFYers back full force,
Business as usual, we will all stay the course.
With websites to run and servers to maintain,
Ours is a job that would drive most insane.

As we sit at our desks and ponder our plans,
We must remember that the world is in our hands.
If it wasn?t for us webmasters working twenty-four, seven,
People would still hang out at the local Seven-Eleven.

We bring products and services, entertainment and fun,
To all of the people with the websites we run.
So, as the holidays approach us once again this year,
pat yourself on the back and have a cold beer.

Another long year has come and gone,
And as sure as it gets dark, there will be a dawn.
Fresh updates and marketing seem to be the key,
to ensure your website is available for all to see.

Some of us succeeded, some of us failed,
bills got paid and checks got mailed.
It?s a rough business to run, this internet thing,
you just never know exactly what tomorrow might bring.

We all just need to take it day by day,
Planning and growing along the way.
Find your groove to build the perfect site,
Eventually, you will get it just right!

If questions you have or resources you need,
GFY will be here for all to succeed!
Thanks GFY for making it easier on us all everyday,
And also thanks for not making us pay.

I guess its time for family and friends,
Stocking stuffers, turkey and hopefully a Mercedes Benz.
Santa is coming, his sleigh drawing near,
With the sound of bells and the hooves of reindeer!
