Hitachi 50" Plasma or LG 50" plasma TV?
 

What one is better?
The Hitachi 50HDA39 is $2900 CDN
The LG 50PC3D is $2600 CDN

They both seem good, but what one is better?
Or should i look at a different one all together?

Plasma TV's are new to me.

I bought an HD DVD player, so I want a good TV:)

i was ganna buy LG 42" plasma too, but when i saw it in real life it didn't look good outside, so i left with hitachi, the best looking plasma ;>

I'm shopping the 50" right now too...
am leaning towards either:
* the Pioneer PDP-5070HD, which CNET ranks as one of the best. http://reviews.cnet.com/Pioneer_PDP_...7.html?tag=pop
OR
* Phillips 50" Ambilight. I've seen a few of these in stores and that light show behind the TV looks too cool to pass up.

lg is crap

LG makes some great products, and some of their tvs are great, but that comes down to what you think looks good.

You will not be disappointed with the Pioneer 50?. I have 2 of them in my bedroom and I?m loving them. Follow the instructions for first time use.
