The little cocksucker will not see any fights, He will be kept safe over there. They will probly use more resources keeping him safe than he will be able to provide so it will actually cost money for him to be there.

Think about it...throughout history the 'lesser' royals have gone to battle.

Actually both Princes made it clear when they joined up that they wanted no special treatment and were ready to fight with their unit. He has always said he doesnt want to be kept at the back but wants to do the job properly.

Also the main Royals actually work very hard, hardly a minute of their day is unaccounted for. They do alot of visits and charity work as well as miliatry involvement and alot more besides.

Very normal stuff spacedog - members of the royal family usually have a term in the military. There's a strong military tradition - prob best exemplifed by Lord Mountbatten.

Na... maybe with the exception of the Old Duke who seems to spend his time fishing in the Caribbean - nobody would want the workload of the rest of the royals - it's a life sentence.
