CC Bill Question
I have about 20K so far through a gallery with a CCBill sponsor. I just signed up a few days ago. I check stats, it shows not 1 click. Now I clicked a few times to test the different links. Is this something I did? Thanks for any help.

sounds like you've got the link code screwed up?
Post the gallery link.

Looks okay to me, providing the PA number you have in there is yours... if you get it wrong, traffic can still be directed to the site, and you won't get credit.
looks correct to me..
Link works fine.Check your aff number. You may be sending the clicks to someone elses account.
Thanks for all the replies guys. you thats my pa #, its linked to 2 other sponsors, plus it shows up in ccbills tracking for affiliates. Perhaps melissacash hasnt turned me on? I tried ICQ'ing to the support icq on her page, but no luck. This sucks.
make sure 1293808 is your partner account for that sponsor
do you mean it your master PA# (the one use use to login to ccbill for stats), or the one given to you when you signed up for this particular program (as a sub under your master one).. it MUST be the one given to you by this program.
holy shit, is that the number on the ccbill stats page under the sponser name? as you can see i dont use ccbill so i dont know...damn whoever has 1293808 is doing well today :(

???? How is your PA# linked to 2 other sponsors? You have your main CCBill PA# which you merge all others underneath.. Each sponsor, you're supposed to use a unique PA# for each of them.. Sounds like you're using your main ccbill pa instead of the unique pa assigned to you for this particular program |
use the # for that specific program/site. Not the master one.
Ok so brings my next question, is there a way to shange the PA # on about 490 pages quickly without having to do it all by hand? wow i spent like 7 hours submitting and confirming.
Yep... there are some handly little perl scripts floating around... are the files in the same directory?
Of course, the other way would be to use some software on your local machine, then just upload the html files again..
Here is one I have used for modifying files on a windows machine before re-uploading: http://www.abacre.com/afr/index.htm
Sorry for so many posts, took me a moment to find the link. |
Make sure you tick "view affiliates without sales"
I cant do scripts, im pretty new and not good with them...can anyone point me to this software on the pc? Yes, they are all in the directory tgp1 on the server, and all in a folder on my pc. you guys are great, thanks for all the help. Im twisted about this, I just cant load 500 pages into frontpage and change it, i dont have the time(yes i use frontpage, flame away :))

i did the same thing back when i was a noob
REMEMBER your login ccbill number is for the first affiliate program u signed up under...all newer affiliate programs you signup under will give you a new ccbill number and you have to use the new numbers for the corresponding affiliate |
