Nop he was supposed to be on the card but he's post poned till the next event in Febuary.

But Shogun is as exciting as Silva as a fighter... and I would say more skilled. Most industry mags rank him above Silva and some above Lidell (generally it goes as : Lidell - Shogun - Silva).

but time will tell ... Wand should be getting his fight agaisn't chuck one day or another. Stupid US fans kinda called it off for a while because they didn't know who he was.

Actually, it was called off because of the knockout Wandy received from Cro Cop, not because of the stupid US fans. Wandy wasn't cleared to fight so soon.

As for the UFC not getting to PRIDE level...

Yes sir. Pride is going down and other orgs are gonna pickup. Nothing worng with that. I'm not hating on UFC. But fact is, this card sucks compared to pride's.

I'm more exicted with Rampage signed to the UFC... He got 2 very bad knockouts from Wand... but I really hope he picks up where he left and goes all the way this time.

P.S. Anthony did you follow the whole thing ? Is it even confirmed that Wand didn't pass ? Cauz Dana got asked by the MMA press many times and he answered with evasive answers more then anything else...

Bro, I"d actually put Rampage over Liddell personally. But time will tell, and we will definately see in the near future. :)

I'm not arguing, the card does suck, but give it time. The UFC is the big market and has the brand right now.

So many rumours on it, but the NSAC is the only one I can see that has any roots to it.

Before he got down Rampage was better then Lidell... but right now ? Not so sure.

I watched a 45 mins interview and all he was talkign about was his new born christian bullshit and how he asked his wife to marry him while he was taking a dump on his toilet bowl...

He's very brandable and probably needs a good ego boost to get back into shape.

We will be watching both. Sucks to hear about Silva not fighting on this card. I did not know this.

P.S. Bodog seems to want to come out strong, IFL is very entraintening... TKO aiin't bad, the MMA scene is getting pretty damn good

American Top Team has some fighters in Bodog, we are well represented! Once Kang gets healed up, he's gonna take his rightful place at the top of PRIDE.

MMA make no money in TKO, that's why the good ones leave for other promotions....

I have to watch more Pride .. I rented the best knockouts of 2006 PPV the other day and fell asleep ... I think it had to do with the way they video it and the fact that i only knew a few guys

No duh... ever went there ? there is like 500 people in the place... except maybe the last event at the Bell centre wich was half of the center and not nearly full.
It's not a big fight league, but there are some quality fighters comming out of there.

True MMA fans know about pride. I myself also prefer pride over ufc. But I do watch both also k1.
