You should check your gallery links. It's not only that index page that is affected, but some of the galleries, too.

I emailed him about this on December 18th. I don't know if he fixed it and it has been defaced again, or he ignored my email.

If you mean them showing MySQL errors, that's probably because the site they belonged to was shut down... for some reason he didn't choose to redirect them to a credited portal or something similar

The root page has a date of December 9th so I guess that's when it was defaced.

It happened a few, most of it is fixed. I had to travel to see family for the holidays didnt get it all fixed yet. They hit every index file on the server.

yeah don't forget about getting that game site back up too, I think we were getting sales from it :)
