Do you work with a partner?
 

I've often wanted to "team up" with someone online to make max cash, but then either I think to myself what is the point, it'll be split profits or the person will turn out to be a snake. I don't think webmasters etc in this business can really do well with a partner. I hire people to help with design etc, but for the most part I can't afford to have a partner.

One friend of mine wanted in, and I said okay, but then he came round and was sat there with me on the computer and was like "okay, show me what to do". I thought to myself "hold on, wtf are you doing?!" and then made up some bs about "oh it's kinda dead now, I haven't made shit in days" and it kind of blew away.

The idea of showing someone how to do things so they can make cash like you, or at least be on that road is just something I can't do, unless it was going to gain me something big.

Thoughts?

I do everything myself.

I have one guy that I work with on shit, we share almost all our info, buy software together....we pretty much know at all times what each other is working on, but we keep our profits and work separate, we just share all info and try and keep on the same work track so that we can help each other along the way

Yap that is the best way

Right now, I'm working alone; though still prefer having a partner for a free source of valuable ideas/insights. Two heads are still better than one.

It's great to have a partner...... if you get yourself banned on GFY your partner can still continue posting those much needed biz threads.

goodgirl and I have been working together ever since I left my last partnership (6 years there) back in 2003 and it was undoubtedly the smartest move I have ever made in this industry.

You can not do everything yourself if you want to keep from having all your eggs in one omelet, and we compliment each other perfectly.

If you hook up with the right person it can be a great move.

He put a false accusation in his sig about child abuse concerning another gfy member. That my friend is banworthy.

This can't be emphasized enough.

The right partner (in that sense) is the best possible situation in terms of keeping everything humming along nicely.

We both have our skills, and could "survive" without each other, but together we thrive.

He was always an asshat as I recall . . . no great loss.

I prefer to work with someone.
