IMHO.. and being have been a performer and producer for many years is ..

There are Prostitutes that do also work in the adult film biz .. and there are adult performers that have tried escorting .. but there really is a difference ..Of the models who were low on $$ because of screwed shooting dates and for what ever other reason .. and they did do and try out escorting .. they all hated it .. .. the difference being usually that when they came to shoot film .. there was no real emotion .. of course everyone was STD tested and everyone was professional and there was a specific scene planned ..yadda yadda .. and with Escorting there was way to much emotion and trying to convince this "Real Guy" that he was hot or you were attracted to him in order just to get paid .. as well the style of actual intercourse .. porn being all wide open and for the light and angles .. where in escorting it was all "implied" emotional and close and the guy is more attempting to make love ..
Escorting in my opinion takes a very unique ability emotion wise.. and porn you can dismiss at the days end because you were a character in a film .. just acting ..
