I am looking for a few good domains to go with a site, well I look up the whois and email the person listed, same email and they all come back not valid email, some yahoo email too, what do they do when they have bad contact info in there and how would you contact the person?

Not much you can do, try calling them by phone, sometimes WHOIS history can help, too. Another option would be to test [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]

There's not much you can do, if they have no means of email on the site; you could be a bitch and complain to their registrar (who won't care), or ICANN (who also won't care, unless it's illegal content)..

So, basically, I'd use WebArchive to see if there was ever more legit contact, and double check the reg dates, etc..

Send an email to [email protected] & hope they have a catchall.

Whois the nameserver & contact them. The nameserver 9 times out of 10 will be the hosting company

Hint: If they give a bullshit email then they don't want to be contacted and don't care about selling. Forcing a contact by digging up info is most likely going to make them hate the fuck out of you and refuse to sell.

well the domain is not being used and it will not hurt to ask, not even pointing anywhere

Maybe it's not pointing anywhere because they are waiting to develope a site for it to point to. Phew...it took me at least 2 brain cells to think of that...I better lay down.
