I just saw on CNN that the rescuers have only 23 more feet to drill to get to the miners. They're expected to reach them shortly. I wonder if any are still alive.

It will be a miracle if those guys are still alive. I think I heard them say that they're in a 4ft wide pocket and the air and water temp is only 55 degrees.

I know there is some kind of technoology to hear that far underground,so they know if they are alive or not... and I think we can figure out why they havent said they're dead yet..ahem ratings.. but yeah lets hope they are alive though :)

I really hope they get all 9 out of there. Its pretty sad that guys go off into these mines to support there families and shit like this happens. Not too mention, being trapped in a tiny room 200+ feet underground for 3 days would fucking freak me out.

I'm having trouble figuring out how they could survive, but they were alive on thursday, hopefully they are alive now.

I wonder if they have to go back to work tomorrow or if they get a couple days off? I also wonder if they are paid for theuir time trapped in the mine. Hmmmm

I'm sure they will be going back to work Monday morning. The company will probably deduct the rescue costs from their checks.
