Lots of hands beat 3-of-a-kind.

ADG Webmaster

MissEve 01-16-2007 04:59 PM

How is that getting owned? Everyone would SP trip aces.

depends if he had one ace in the hand and the board flopped 2 aces he could be calling into a boat.........folding trips isn't that hard with flush and boat possibilities :2 cents:

Good call. And another thing, I don't think I'd call playing in a free poker game with a bunch of friends 'gambling'. Just good fun! :pimp

boneprone 01-16-2007 07:01 PM

Amazing beat....

Never happened to me before.

In all my years of playing, never gone up against or had a ROYAL FLUSH..

UNreal...

And the guy played it PERFECT.......

boneprone 01-16-2007 07:04 PM

I didnt slow play my trip aces.. I went in hard. Real hard.. He called..

Checked and called. Then I went all in and he called..

He was a calling machine in previous hands.. I played it right.

He was distracted and talking the whole time. Unreal play.

I did get owned.. In that his tells were not registering with me at all.

Ive played with the best players in the world. Been in cardplayer magazine..

And I got beat by a fucking webamster in a webamster tourney by a dream hand..

It was pretty awsome really.

boneprone 01-16-2007 07:06 PM

I did get a great Camz cum rag as a gift though...

Ill use it for tonights bukkake party.

Thanks Camz.com

I don't know what the board was but... There was obviously a potential flush and a potential ace high straight which both beat trips, never mind the royal.

I don't know how it played out, but, sounds like boneprone didn't know when to fold or truly though he had the best with a shitty board.

Edit. Apears boneprone couldn't push the guy off his draw?

Trip Aces? Damn good hand but with the flush on board, I would have folded the trips. Been flushed out to many times.

Phoenix 01-16-2007 07:18 PM

i would have risked as well with three aces

so you bet hard on the flop and pushed all in on 4th?.........and when did he make his hand? (i assume it was 4th, cause flopping a royal seems way out there)

oh yeah and did you have pocket aces or were you using 2 on the board?

dude, please. sell your shit somewhere else. you didn't get beat by a dream hand, ANY flush would have beat you. you went all in with trips when a possible flush was on the board.

amateur

madawgz 01-16-2007 08:47 PM

webgurl 01-16-2007 08:48 PM

Hardly embarassing or owned, most poker players would have played those triple Ace's the same way boneprone did.

Violetta 01-17-2007 06:30 AM

hehe. Thats bad luck...

DarkJedi 01-17-2007 06:32 AM

Hey Bone.. nice seeing you again!

It was Rafi from World Wide Content that got the Royal...

Flop was 10s , Qs , As.... never took notice of the turn or river... Rafi played it brilliant.. (hold cards Js, Ks)

He looked as distracted as he did on every hand.. ;)

Ron won the tourny again... picked up $3500...

I took 3rd for $800....

A big thanks to Camz, Datinggold, Eroticy and all the other sponsors for a great time.. looking forward to the next one..

Peaches 01-17-2007 10:01 AM

Isn't that what makes playing these tourney's fun? You're not using your own money, so you play looser :) Hell, I had just about every chip on the table until RichC slowly went from something crazy like $10 to completely wipe me out. (yes, I still want to let all the air out of one of his tires for that one - the bastard!!).

LoriAnderson 01-17-2007 10:41 AM

damn... well congrats to all the winners :thumbsup

Wagerboy 01-17-2007 11:15 AM

Ive played quite a bit and have never seen a royal flush in person. ONline, yeah, but never in person.

CyberAgeGary 01-17-2007 12:12 PM

That was a great tourney, I was chip leader with about 26 people left, and gave it all back in two hands..

Oh Well...

Next time...

DaddyHalbucks 01-17-2007 12:12 PM

Bone prOWNED.

Flush and a straight on the board... Staying in with the set you're just hoping for the board to pair and your chances aren't that great...

Pinacolada 01-17-2007 12:46 PM

What can I say that's bad luck

boneprone 01-18-2007 01:19 AM

There was no flush or straight on the board till the river.

I did everything I could to protect my hand. Came in strong with my poket Aces right off the bat. Played em hard till the end.

if u had that on the flop u should have took out your opponents
right away and called an ALL IN or did a crazy raise/ bets
to knock them chasers out . Dude he "River'd " you ??
:disgust :Oh crap

Martin 01-18-2007 01:37 AM

Ahhh I hate the river. Fuckin river rats suck lol..

boneprone 01-18-2007 01:39 AM

The guy played me sooo well I tip my hat to em..

He knew I was watching for tells and signs off him.. He sent the perfect messages to me..

When he hit his card, he still contiued to act like he didnt give a fuck. He was talking to people behind him and around the table.

He was a calling station for a bunch of hands prior. Already had him and his style pinned down.. So I thought. He used that table image to his advantage and worked me!.. I was taking em for all I could I thought. Came out with a bet of 5 times the blind just to start.. And went strong from there.

He just called, called and called.. No raise. Nothing.. I couldnt push em out. I tried..

Finally I went all in.. He didnt even hear me. Or at least thats what he played as he was talking to someone else.. Then he asked me what I said, and I said all in.. The guy wansnt even paying attention to the game so I thought..

Then he called.. Fliped over the Royal and it was amazing.. I was in shock.

The whole table was..

The camz dude got up from our table, got the MIC and announced it in the whole room what just happend.

How fucking shitty! Everyone saw me of all people get knocked out.

Too funny.. IT was still a lot of fun.

dig420 01-18-2007 01:43 AM

I heard he flopped that straight and you pushed anyhoo.

it happens, hard not to get impatient with AA and an A on the board. I've seen two royals but never had one.

1k per head, winner takes it all at my poker table. Anyone interested?

Martin 01-18-2007 01:46 AM

Good poker story I must say.

Danny B 01-18-2007 01:51 AM

that's tough!

But at least you're a good sport by giving the guy credit for how he played you. :thumbsup

So even if poker is a very manipulable game, you still need a shitload of luck from time to time :)

Hmmm.. Really??

If so I missed that.. I would have remembered a flop like that.. IF thats the case then I must have not seen it... Been known to happen where I just blank out.. Especially when im so deprived on sleep. So yeah I guess its possible?

But Im almost certain it was the River bro......

Ive been playing the whole thing in my head many many times now..

Im pretty on top of board awareness in poker..

But yeah its possible. Maybe I overlooked it.. But I doubt it.. Big suited cards flooping out would have sent my radar off like mad.. Not likely to get overlooked.

boneprone 01-18-2007 02:01 AM

Getting busted with Poket aces is nothing new for me..

I know how to protect em. And the first thing I do is look at that flop. Raise to see where I stand. And do it hard..

The moment a call is made on that, I automatically start placing on the guy what I think he may have..

I had him on nothing...... Maybe a pair.. But I floped a set..

I wasnt day dreaming. I was dialed in..

His mind was all over the place.. Talking to people not even sitting at our table..

Really well played sending me reverse tells and mixed messages, or just dang lucky I dont know.

But shit I got worked..
