Make DIGG's model work for you -- the power of Social News
Why isn't there an adult version of Digg?
Here's some background info http://www.blogherald.com/2007/01/16...f-social-news/ |
There is actually. I just released it a few days ago. It's functional, but I still have to code in the bells and whistles.

An adult content consumer version might not fly unless there's a lot of 'fake dig prevention' measures. lol

There are hundreds of them, they all suck, lol they have been around for years too.

You're going to have to step it up and offer more if you're to go anywhere. So far what you have any of the 10's of thousands of Adult webmasters can offer. Whats going to separate you? |

There have been a whole bunch. The only decent one i recall was fleshh.com, then the owners let it go to shit and sold the domain for some reason. *shrug*

I couldn't agree more. I actually wasn't ready to announce this, but this thread made me 'test the waters', so to speak. I've got a bunch of custom coding to be done yet. I'll bump this thread when it's all set to go, with the additional features that I want. |
Well digg.com can still be used for adult news, after all like anyone check those all news.

Ravo, good luck with your adult webmaster DIGG-type site. I like the niche. It'
s a good way to segregate news/announcements/trends from webmaster discussions and possible drama. The digg format preserves all the spice of a forum but it also rides heavily on people's need to share and reprocess (ie., blog this feature) info. I only see it getting better with age. |
