Using Eudora. Love it. Would be hard to imagine using anything else... (Though I am hearing murmurings about really good things in the next version of Apple's Mail.app, so I may give it a shot.)

I am a faithful Eudora user. I won't use anything else...

What is the toy? A mailbox backup & compression tool, that let's you search the compressed mailboxes? I could use something like that.

It's funny how things work with computers..at least for me

when i first went online back when dinosaurs ruled the earth eudora light came with the signup package(no,not AOL!) and i've stuck with it ever since...now am using Eudora 5.1.

The same is true with just about every other program i have..whatever i started using first i've kept...

only when companies really fuck up like WordPerfect(remember them?) do i switch and then it's only kicking and screaming.

I have no idea how many people actually use Eudora anymore but i get the feeling that not many do.

So what's the reward for us Eudora users?

Nothing major but I use it this is what it does

I have a filter setup that says everytime I get an email from ***@MMM.com it should open an APP (Eudora feature)

That app dials me thru my modem and plays me a message

I use it becuse I need to know when I get a email from a certain person right away

/me doesn't have a modem :(
