had a joke in opening monologue about the current "porn convention going on in vegas currently"... something along the lines of you can go an meet your favorite porn stars in person, and find that they are just "regular old whores"..

while i think we should be able to, in the current climate in the states i guess any mainstream references that are negative give me a shudder, more negative press and/or demonizing just cant help at this point..

Then you're looking at it all wrong. Personally, if Leno is joking about the porn industry I think it actually legitimizes it and serves to make it that much more acceptable in the general public.

Plus, if we get all oversensitive at every percieved sleight then we come off as no better than a pack of retards... kind of like the muslims crying about the show 24 or burning cars and houses over a cartoon.
