Self-Employed Folks: Ever had problems with your health insurance?
 

Quick question for those who are on individual health insurance, what exactly can get you denied?

I've been on a plan for awhile but am switching. The application is being reviewed at the moment but I had to go to the ER last night for chest pains (turns out to be bad acid reflux and everything is fine). I'm wondering if that would be a reason for me to get denied now by the new insurance company. I've had zero health problems outside of that.
