How much $$$ do you make?
 

I have been a webmaster for about 6 months now and I cant help to think how the competition is doing. I know we all tackle different niches in different ways, but I'd like to know how other webmasters are doing when it comes to weekly/monthly profits.

My flagship site has an alexa ranking of a high 800k, but most sites I see here are lower than that. Im assuming more traffic = more $$$. So, if its not taboo on this forum, how much are some of you making monthly from your site(s)? How many sites do you run?:winkwink:

I think quality weigh much more than traffic. And optimizing your portfolio, if you advertise.

on a good day i make 0.0001 USD :thumbsup my goal is to get up to 0.001 by the end on 2007...

Because I wanted to see if I would get real answers before I put my stats out. As for myself, $50-$100 a day usually.

If you don't know what to do with that traffic or how to filter it then more traffic does not necessarily mean more money.

Here is your biggest mistake.

More traffic = more BW burn. Which can cost more money.

More conversions can = more money. It depends what you spend to get them. Unless you are converting 1-1 there is always room to improve your bank balance by improving the conversions on your existing traffic.

It's not easy to do and that for those who can do it is a plus. You need to really plug into what your traffic wants to buy, examine how you get it to them or if you already have it tell them in a better way.

Or you could improve your bank balance by retaining members longer or getting them to rejoin after 4 months. All harder to do than just getting more traffic, but all a lot more profitable than getting more traffic.

IF YOU HAVE THE SKILLS TO DO IT.
