This is probaply as sad as it gets. A good friend of mine rebuilt this place from scratch, invested like a million $, has been open for half a year and then this shit happens...

Someone I know had the same thing happen to his place. Got a fat check and built a place twice as big as the one before. Oh and he got a nice vacation time as well during the rebuilding of the place.

I explained to my wife how building insurance worked the other day. Her eyes lit up when I said that we wouldn't have to build exactly the same house, and may not have to build it on the same land. We own another (vacant) block and she wants a bigger house so I could guess what she was thinking. :1orglaugh

Good news!!! Just had a beer with my friend. He's almost over-insured. Cause of the fire was an electronic failiure in some kitchen equipment, he'll get everything back from insurance and even more (if he's a bit creative:pimp ) . Even his staff receives their pays untill they find new jobs or until may cause....
