OpenOffice... Anyone else use it?

So far I'm pretty impressed.. Loading all my excel spreadsheets 100% and it's completely free... Haven't used the other programs with it yet though. Fuck Microcrap.

spanky part 2 01-23-2007 08:55 PM

I love it and will never go back. It's kinda funny now some clients are asking for spread sheets in the open doc format.

TheJimmy 01-23-2007 08:55 PM

yup, didn't get office on my newest box and didn't feel like paying for the thing after some 'trial' was up...works like a charm for what I need

TheSenator 01-23-2007 08:56 PM

I have my whole family running Open

The Hotness 01-23-2007 08:58 PM

Ooops, didn't mean that.

niche25 01-23-2007 11:59 PM

Open Office kicks ass. MS office is freaking great but at the price tag of $free, I think open office is a great solution.

avrevenue 01-24-2007 01:58 AM

I have no problems with it. very good programs!

Roberto the Perverto 01-24-2007 02:10 AM

I've used openOffice in the past. It was nice but ran extremely slow compared to office.

I was actually very impressed by Google Docs and Spreadsheets. i keep a few documents and records there for easy access from anywhere.

Budis 01-24-2007 02:22 AM

I use it.

We have office too ... Office Professional 2003 ... But we own the boxed copy and STILL use OpenOffice :)

It's faster :)

LustyBucks 01-24-2007 11:02 AM

OpenOffice rules!

4Man 01-24-2007 11:30 AM

I don't use it...

drjones 01-24-2007 11:48 AM

OO is great. Its a great replacement for MS Office, unless you use some of the crazy collaboration features, and what not. Most people dont though, unless you work for a big corporation that actually pays to train people on the stuff.

Sarah_Jayne 01-24-2007 12:20 PM

I used it and an increasing number of UK schools are using it and sticking their fingers up to the charges for using Office on so many computers and in turn saving tax payers money.

woj 01-24-2007 12:42 PM

yea, use it all the time, it's great :thumbsup

just a punk 01-24-2007 12:50 PM

Using it here as well.

jalami 01-24-2007 01:40 PM

Yeah, I tried OpenOffice a few months ago....

...it's still loading.

Mr Steele 01-24-2007 01:44 PM

I used it for a week, then went back to office 2007, looked alright though, just used to M$

Wolfy 01-24-2007 01:48 PM

:thumbsup for OO

garce 01-24-2007 01:49 PM

I've used it for years. The only problem I had with it was that it was slow. The new version seems to have sped things up quite a bit, though.

Fetish Gimp 01-24-2007 01:56 PM

OpenOffice cured my herpes, washed my car, cut my hair and added 4 inches to my dick.

Zoe_Zoebaboe 01-24-2007 02:00 PM

Yeah, I use OpenOffice on my Mac. It rocks :)

lusciousness 01-24-2007 09:56 PM
