PA/NJ/NY get together? How bout a ski/snowboard weekend
 

Since the old thread about doing something between all of us seems to have died off and not happening, figured it would be a time to start a new one up.

Since its finally cold enough here for everyone to start making snow, I was thinking we should try to get everyone together for a ski/snowboard weekend up in the Poconos (best mid-point I could think of) Checking though prices it looks like the average would be $100 per person for a "cabin" for the weekend and what ever group discounts we could get for lift tickets/rentals/lessons

Before I did more research into finding a place and who we could get discounts from I figured I would see who is interested in doing it, and if any one would wanna sponsor things like stocking the cabin bar, lift tickets etc

I was thinking march 16-18 would be a good time as it gives a month of planning time and it falls between snowgathering and phoenix forum. It should still be cold enough to make snow at that point so we should be OK

So anyone interested?

I was just trying to fit it in between other shows, Checking out the calender the only weekend free of some sort of convension is is Feb 16th-18th which I didnt think allowed enough planning time. However if anyone wants to vote on a weekend Ill be down

I'm in...but the way the weather is around here, it might be a beach party.

Were still in the process of putting togther one in NYC within the coming months. Were just trying to get the place in the city locked down

Any more interest? I was planning on sitting down this weekend and see if I can find some places to rent on the cheap for a weekend. Also for those already interested.. would Feb dates or March dates listed work better?

So is this one gonna crash and burn too? I need a head count before I can find places to stay . If its 6-7 its easy... after that its pretty hard. I found some awsome cheap places but I need a head count to make sure we are atleast close to bedding ammounts

That weekend is no good for me, but with my schedule on the weekend's you can't plan around me. :)

Right in Hightstown, so the Irish pub or Poconos works for me...Either way I'm game
