"My DENTIST Story.......Why some people should not be practicing "
 

About 10 months ago , my tooth was in major pain. We have a family dentist been using for 20+years but he is like a 30-40 min drive for me now.....

So at the time i decided to use a local dentist. I needed a root canal. Now... that tooth SHOULD have had 2 canals...but asswipe saw only one and said it can happen.... but what the hell do i know.. i was in such pain i just wanted the pain to go away.

So fast forward to last week. My entire top right of mouth was in pain.... I called my mom and she yelled at me for not using our regular dentist.

I go to him and behold the tooth did have 2 CANALS and asswipe didnt seeit.. A abscess was formed ie: infection which was casuing pressure on other teeth. He drilled second canal and let it drain and told me to come back this week. Since i was in canadia ,, i was good till about sat night then i was in pain yo , i started popping Aleve's like candy...


Moral of the story is MAKE SURE YOU GO TO A GOOD DENTIST and if you already have one like i did dont let a long drive deter you....

I will most likely have to have the fucker yanked out tomorrow , and then come back and so some cosmetic work on it.... :(

Good story. Also, check with your state's board to check up on their malpractice track record.

I think implants are 3 or 4k and supposed to last a lifetime.

Man.. you are lucky... i have a friend that had the same thing happen but the dentist just filled his tooth thinking it didn't really need a canal. It trapped the infection which moved into his blood stream.. then into his brain. He woke up with his right hand tingling, went back to sleep thinking he just slept on it wrong. Woke up a bit later his whole arm was numb, still didn't think it was a big deal. Woke up in the morning with his entire right side paralyzed. took him years of therapy to get to about 60&#37;. If you have an infected tooth and it is on the upper left side of your mouth be extremely careful and see a dentist immediately. the blood flows from the left side of your face straight up to the brain and takes whatever bacteria with it.

That is awful, I bet he was mad at the dentist:mad:

fuck, that is scary shit. i need to get dental work done, but my insurance doesnt cover it, and im to big of a woose to go in...
