They do ok for me. I hate the payouts every 90 days or something close to it.

Hi,
If you run into issues please feel free to drop me a line |
avnads is a waste of page space in my opinion. You'd make more money if you placed sponsor ads in that spot.

I had a simple question about their js whacking out my galleries that went unanswered for weeks, so I went with AdEngage (they pay more anyway). |
The payout schedule with AVNads is a pain in the ass. There's really no excuse in this day and age for having to wait up to 90 days to get your money. Another problem is that it's hit and miss whether or not you get an email notifying you of new ads to review and emails are never sent advising of ad edits to approve, so you have to log in every day to check on these.
However, the issue that's really exercising me at the moment is illustrated by my text ad zone on the left at http://pandemos.net/tgp/ Two problems there: 1. Why is half the zone empty? 2. Why are only five ads displayed? I have ten active ads that should be there. I sent a support request in about each of these issues. The response to the first one was that "we were able to see the AdZone on the left". Well done, so can I. Doesn't answer my question though. I haven't had a reply on the second issue. I'm really not surprised by this because my experience of customer support has been that it's pretty woeful. Sometimes ads disappear completely for hours on end and when you email support you tend to just get a reply back three days later saying there's no problem. Also, don't expect any kind of support out of office hours because there isn't any. If your ad zone disappears at 5.01pm this afternoon nothing will be done about it until Monday at the earliest, but it's more likely to be Wednesday before support get back to you. It's a bad service for their 30% cut, or whatever it is these days. BTW, don't know if it's still the case but when I signed up the only way I could find out what the level of commission they took was to email and ask because it wasn't posted on the website anywhere, even once you were signed up. Argh! |
