that was unbelievable! perfect barrels.. waves so long you'd almost get bored.. freakish! though that was further south at coolangatta.. and yeah it's been pretty fucking warm for latish winter..

then again surfers and brisvegas are always as hot and humid as fuck.. bloody subtropical coast.. I swear to you there is a massive differrence between the goldcoast and byron.. i'll travel the hour and a half up there and while it was fine here when i hop out of the car up there my shirt starts sticking to me and i feel like im in a steam room... i don't think i could live any further north if i had to. unless i had a secret underground lair that was fully air conditioned.
