this i find funny:
ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine, who attended the event, told panelists that her group is ?neutral? on the .XXX proposal, contrary to other reports. ?There is nothing there ? no deals,? she said. ?We have not received any funds [from ICM].? this is funny from someone who wrote a letter supporting it, remember this when writing asacp checks. |

WE were there... WE were the ones to publicly denounce the effort you are some fuck head at this point who slanders people and couldnt come up with the money or balls to let your voice be heard and you THINK you can spread conspiracy theories and you are simply full of shit I am tired of hearing your lies and ripping people who you know jack shit about... you are one weak sister in this industry |
Lots of bullshit, spin, spin and more spin.
Anyone who attended and thought my comments were over the top, I'm sorry but as Greg said, manure is manure. |
I was there, and wrote this fairly extensive account of what took place for YNOT.
There was no way to include everything that was said in the article (it ended up long enough as it is) but I tried to include the most salient points offered by both sides, for the most part in the order that those points were made, and attempted to avoid editorializing/inserting my own bias to the extent possible. The article includes substantially more of ICM's perspective than do the other accounts of what went on at the seminar that I have read thus far. That fact does not indicate support for .xxx on my part, it is simply a reflection of the proportions of the seminar itself, in which 3 of the 4 panelists were supporters of, or associated with, the ICM proposal. - Q. |

http://xbiz.com/news_piece.php?id=19553 bottom of the article
http://forum.icann.org/lists/stld-rfp-xxx/msg00061.html Her letter, which she talks about : ASACP has been in negotiations with the International Foundation for Online Responsibility (IFFOR) and ICM for it to serve as a hotline for reviewing reports of suspected child pornography and to carry out the secondary monitoring of .xxx sites for child pornography. Call me a liar now If your a man I look forward to your apology |
Quentin,
Thank you very much for your report on the seminar. I appreciate your effort as I was not there myself today to attend. Cheers, Brad |
