Sorenson Squeeze?

I was using Soreson Squeeze, but I recently have switched to CleanerXL....

Sorenson really started freezing up and crashing more and more lately

we have tested both on a quad core machine - only cleaner uses all 4 processors. and it was 65% faster on a quad core intel machine compared to a duo core amd x2 machine

I have a x2 4600 on the way though, but damn ups 3 day shipping is going to take 5 days because of the weekend

think vegas video might do the trick . . I've gone from MOV to AVI in vegas

so remember when you get your >new< computer that it is 65% slower than an intel quad core :winkwink:

i was devastated to see my "fast" machine so slow and now i'm thinking to buy that other machine - it was about $3500 net - very tempting

actually, I am just upgrading the processor....I have a socket 939, and the 4600 x2 is the highest it will support

I will eventually upgrade the quad core, but not right now, I needed something cheap and fast, luckily I can at least have the x2 with my mobo right now

Jace, you are pc based, and is this Cleaner XL 1.5 you are referring to? I just ordered the upgrade from Cleaner XL which I have been using for years.

This is actually the first time I have ever used Cleaner, and it is a serious step up from Sorenson and VideoCharge

Good, I also was pleased to read MaDaltons experience that it took advantage of all four processors in his quad core Intel.
