Feedwordpress users - inside here please....
 

I have been chatting with radgeek, and he just doesn't have the time to develop the new feedwordpress for 2.1 fast enough because of his normal work schedule

I brought up the idea of gathering a group of people together to all donate $20 a piece, for a undetermined total, to get him kicked into gear and get him working on it

if you are wanting to do this and get feedwordpress back up to working order, post here or email me jace (at) justjace (dot) com and let me know

all we need is like 5 people to make it worth while, and if we get more, than cool for him, he has a solid product that he offers for free, how about we give a little back?

I think it's a great idea Jace, but he's always busy like that.. and coding feedwordpress isn't very difficult. I think some programmer should take over the code or take the opportunity to take it to the next level and become the standard.

There are probably a handful of programmers more than qualified here. I wonder of Smokey or Woj might even take it on. I would recommend SimplePie too, instead of Magpie for use with it.. should anyone decide to take a look.

I've repaired it in the past myself when it broke after an upgrade, but I haven't upgraded to 2.1 yet.

I would love to see some programmers from around here take this on, and instead of directing the funds to radgeek, just direct them to a new programmer

i would donate a few bucks if he could add an option for limiting the number of posts syndicated in every update...

YEAH that would be nice if it would limit it to one post per day, per feed and move the others to queue to post daily (any others follow behind)

I think they have a wordpress thread where a guy fixes the issue, currently I am running feedwordpress on one of my sites, I did the fix and everything seems to be working swimmingly. And I am running 2.1.
