We are the voters are the ones who send them to die there, and they are mostly OLD people. I bet $10,000 US you haven't read from WHERE we MUST pull out. |
The average homicide rate in the United States is 8 people per 100,000.

Some nights, more US citizens die of gunshots in Detroit than in Iraq.
|
i thought posting links to other forums was against GFY rules?....
|
yeah its sux ...
|
Those stats don't surprise me.
Everyone is screaming about how "bad it is in Iraq". I have buddies over there and they are telling it's a piece of cake. We've lost 2600 men (and women) since we went in there. Any loss of life to me is just horrible. But to put this in perspective, We lost 5000 men in the first few days of fighting on Iwo Jima during WWII. |

Combat deaths and total deaths aren't the same numbers. The press pushes the total number but the fact is more GI's would die in the US by accidents, sucides, shootings and blunt objects then the total deaths in Iraq ! |
Do you really believe the government reported combat death figures? If they die in transit or soon after, they don't count that. And our mercenaries never get counted or buried properly. The gov has been lying for 6 years now.

THEN WHY THE FUCK ISN'T THE JOB DONE YET? If its so god damned easy, so god damned winnable, why haven't we fucking won yet? Why isn't it done? Why hasn't our flag been raised and their burned and thats that? Do you mean to tell me that our soldiers are dragging it out so they can continue to enjoy the vacation provided at taxpayer expense, the great food, the comfortable living conditions and the beautiful women? Bullshit! Its an unwinnable war that has no fucking purpose and no end in sight. It is just like Vietnam. Never should have been fought, never should have stayed once we went. You know, I don't feel sorry for our troops anymore. They signed up on thier own, they cashed the check for the college money and they knew what they were getting in to. Even the dumbest people among us know that when you get marched off to war by some cock like Bush you run a very real risk of dying a miserable death for no good reason. Parents should blame themselves for not educating their kids better, teaching them the dangers of blind following of a psychopathic leader the practice of which is labeled as patriotic by those in control (plenty of lessons to be found in Nazi Germany on that topic) and the dangers of fighting in the King's army under such conditions. Who I really feel sorry for now is John Q. Taxpayer who is being taxed to death (literally) so that this cesspool of a country can continue to operate business as usual with a huge hearty helping of bullshit for all and a barrel of pork in every politician's garage. And a war to make sure there is a buyer for all of the shit turned out by the politician's little defense contractor companies. What kills me is alot of these kids are old enough to die for Bush (I'd rather they die for a barrel of oil before they give their lives for that sorry son of a bitch, at least a barrel of oil is worth something and could help this country get something done) but not old enough to drink a beer and too stupid to be trusted with making the choice as to whether or not to wear a seatbelt when and if they come home. God, the ignorance of Republicans/hawks/Bush-lovers is just too fucking much sometimes. Flame away, I don't care. |

This is how to win a war - you say to your generals, "go and win" then you leave them to it. This is how not to win a war - you say to your generals, "well you can't do this and you can't do that because you have to be sensitive to the feelings and cultural and religious practices of your enemies". Kill the enemy and anyone who provides help and support to them = war over. It's a concept proven by over 4000 years of warfare. |

They can't pull out of Iraq, they haven't found the WMD's yet.
Coincidentally though, they would find plenty in the US. |
i heard that on the news last night america might go to war with iran. that would be very very tough and something about iraq would have to be done sharpish. let me be king and alls cool
|
William T. Sherman knew how to end a war.
|
i never liked that town anyways. feels like i was sitting in a cesspool when i went there. damn right, pull the fuxors out!

It is in the best interest of any government to show statistics that are beneficial to the political interest of that particular unit of legislation....WAR 101 |
I wish someone would just shoot that dumb son of a bitch so we can be done with this. There are some situations where assassination is a valid means of political maneuvering. The United Snakes of America is just such a situation right now.
