Just finished clearin' my driveway. Had a 4-foot drift alongside the wife's car. Mine was in the garage.

We got about a foot on the ground, with big drifts everywhere. Still whiteout conditions on the roads, though.

ive seen at least 3 people this morning do their whole drive way like they were driving to work or something. they take off in the car...fight their way down the street and come back ten minutes later

got about an inch overnight here. Pry around a foot total in the past week or so.

we're just getting it now but it doesn't look like its gonna end up to be too bad unless there is more to come. the snow seems to be tappering off already.

I just finished making a shovel-width path around my car. Took me 45 minutes, and in the middle I tooka break, chugged some water, and ate an orange for a boost of energy.
Like I told my boss, half the time I was fighting off a heart attack, the other half of the time I was hoping for one.

Gotta get the weight off the roof unless you want leaks and destruction, lol.
They were using snowblowers on their roofs about 20 miles north of me during their 11 foot snowfall event.

i havent looked outside yet.. they said about 25cm the other night on the news.. Im still recovering from the weather change.. wrapped in a ton of blankets & stuff... snow is the last thing I want to be thinking of lol

Edit: Crap just realized its like 11 here.. I need to go make sure Im parked on the right side of the street for the plows or I prolly have a ticket :(

That's my exact day so far in a nutshell. I got halfway to work before the boss called on the cell and told me to turn around and head home. My co-workers that made it in were just sittin' around in the CityHall lunchroom waitin' to head home again.

Roads were bad - major whiteouts on country roads between the cities. Plows have only just barely cleared the mainroads (and even those were filling in behind the plows).

im so glad I bought a snow blower, best $1k i've ever spend.... took me like 5-10 min to clean 6 cars driveway ... I see people with showels and sh!t killing themselves for like an hour lol... one thing I dont get, if they can afford $600-800k house, why can't they fucking buy snow blower... I only saw like 1 other dude with snow blower, and rest 10-15 people are showeling ... wtf

I finally finished my driveway and clearing my car at around 11pm last night. I worked on it all day long steadily, 6 times out to shovel in total. My piles along my drive are way over my head now, at least 7 ft, lol.
And..... 5 to 10 inches of lake effect snow before tonight is in the forecast.
