Dude the black one look sjust like my Gato

The Cocksucker 02-14-2007 02:26 PM

Those cats look like they are baked already.

After Shock Media 02-14-2007 02:27 PM

Petsmart has a animal valium substitute you can buy over the counter.

Though I will admit I have drugged my cat before.

eh... it's a start.

DutchTeenCash 02-14-2007 02:29 PM

nope you cant unless you wanna kill them

medications for animals are way different and its REALLY difficult even for a vet to take human med and divide it, you gotta know weight age n stuff and otherwise they od in no time

Fizzgig 02-14-2007 02:34 PM

Try some catnip, that should calm them down.
:winkwink:

Tat2Jr 02-14-2007 02:37 PM

That's why I always go to the pound and get a 5+ year old cat now. Those kittens are so damn crazy... and the "teen years" are awful.... at least with my male cat. God he turned into an asshole.

seeric 02-14-2007 02:37 PM

not advisable. give em catnip. once they wig out for about an hour, they will go to sleep with it. its like heroine for cats.

LOL

LOL

Or hypothetically get a large plastic bag. Start hitting the bong real hard and fast and blow into bag until very smokey. Insert kitty and wait for it to get a little wobbly. Let it out and repeat on next cat.

JD 02-14-2007 02:46 PM

i've given my dog benadryl before. Vet actually said I could. Just cut it in half then in half again (dog weighs 13lbs) it was sweet dreams after about 15 minutes :)

benadryl is a antihistamine thats totally different then diazepam/valium - valium makes sleepy but has serious sideeffects, id NEVER use it on dogs or cats

Jman 02-14-2007 02:56 PM

it's actually fun to see 2 cats fight ;-)

yeah i know. I'd never give my dogs "real" drugs unless the vet told me exact doses.

The winning solution me thinks

munki 02-14-2007 03:19 PM

My cats are destined for some experimentation after this thread...

aimeesweet 02-14-2007 03:25 PM

I had a black kitty named Clarence once and the vet actually prescribed him valium... apparently he was an obsessive-compulsive groomer lol

Craziest damn cat I ever had... and he was a vicious hunter too!

Awwww cute kitties! How old? Boys, girls, one of each? Kittens are just made to be hyper. Wait till they get older and fixed. They will settle down.

sweetums 02-14-2007 03:41 PM

Baby's looking at you with the "Just shut up and feed me" look on her face lol :1orglaugh

No need for the bong - just close the cat in the same room as you and smoke a few. Back in my smoking days, I had a cat and for the 5 years he was alive, even as a kitten, he just chilled with us all. Every now and then, he would leg it around the room, around the tv and stuff, then he'd go back to chilling out on the rug.

The cat died after getting hit by a car, I like to thing it wasn't drug related, but I still feel guilty. That was 10 years ago and I haven't smoked since. Damn cat!

Male and Female, Floyd and Baby(formely named zango) Baby the black one is the hyper active one. She's about 7 months and Floyd is 6.

Both fixed and nothing's changed. Think I might try aftershock's technics... Hypothetically speaking :upsidedow

In my hypothetical world the bong and bag, ok it was not actually a bong. It was a two liter bottle with its bottom cut off and cap retro fitted for a bowl and lid. That was packed and then inserted into a 5 gallon bucket of water. You would then light it and slowly lift the bottle out of the water allowing the water suction to pull smoke into the bottle, very very dense smoke. Then in my hypothetical universe we would dump the now near yellow smoke into a large plastic bag and insert the kitty. Kitty would struggle at first then calm down. After about thirty seconds or so it would nearly fall over and then it was let out. It was watched carefully they entire time of course.

Upon kitties release it would stagger about and try to make it to the food dish or whatever smelled edible. It also may attack invisable objects and then in a few minutes would fall asleep. Then it was safe to actually groom the kitty and not face bodily harm. Kitty would be fine in about two hours or so. Yet very damn hungry.

Awww you have a Baby too. My Baby is 16 years old now and she has been really sick the past few days with heart and kidney trouble :( I have two others though, 3 year old sisters that were brats when they were kittens. Once they hit about a year old, they calmed down. All they do is sleep now and occasionally chase the dog.

IWantU_Jeff 02-14-2007 04:34 PM

dude.. WALMART i got this ball thing with like 2 holes.. they get in there & just run ramped around in that thing.. stopped the kitty fights & the 2am sprint races around the house...
