Why is E-MULE so fucking slow?!

I tried playing with the settings and shit, but it still is too fucking slow...
downloading at 3,4,5 k/b per sec or so...
and it's not that it's normal for a file sharing program... kazaa usually works much faster...

Is there some version of emule available with optimal settings?

no, but i thought people using p2p might be marked somehow there and then checked if their computers have copyright protected materials

it happens in some countries, anyway, please ignore my comments, im not in a good mod today

With a name like E-Mule, it's not slow, it's just stubborn.

8kb/sec is normal for me and i'm really happy if i have 20kb .

Use torrents instead, e-mule will probably give you a bunch of viruses instead of whatever you're trying to download.
