Wow, I'm crying.

MikesTraffic 02-21-2007 03:22 PM

I'm not a hateful person, but I just don't understand how the middle east can think the way they do (not all but the radicals)

borked 02-21-2007 03:25 PM

I 'spose Google's non-censorship position is that each person has a right to be heard, even in times of war.

Agent 488 02-21-2007 03:26 PM

fucked, but that story is old:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...Se arch&meta=

chaze 02-21-2007 03:27 PM

damn, that is sick!

borked 02-21-2007 03:28 PM

Juba may be old news, but I'm not aware that his publicity on a premium American business website was.

JD 02-21-2007 03:29 PM

prolly, but what % of the population browse orish, compared to those that browse Google?

IMO, whomever posted it on Google, posted it for propaganda and they picked the right time to make it good propaganda - people are fed up with the US soldier casualties, but they're just figures on paper. This shows them the reality of sudden and wasteful death.

Perfect propaganda - fine for ogrish, but should Google be allowing it?

IMO? Yes, Google should be allowing it.

cranki 02-21-2007 03:47 PM

Do you think their bad taste of music results from their radicalism or vice versa?

EroticyChrissy 02-21-2007 03:50 PM

Yeah that is old news. They caught him. We have terrorist here too. They kill presidents and blow up schools filled with children. Everyone's in constant battle within. Ying and Yang.

Why? Is it because it isn't a real war, or is it really because censorship shouldn't be allowed?

If the US was under invasion by another country and your lives and freedom were at risk, would you think the same to allow videos of the aggressors killing your own to be uploaded to an American company's servers?

Why? Because war isn't pretty, and neither is censorship. Let our young men and women see the risks of signing up, let them know that it's not all "fun and games" like the recruitment officers make it out to be. Let them know that if they sign up, that this is a very real situation that they could experience. They won?t be seeing these videos at the recruitment office that?s for sure ? they deserve to know the truth.

abyss_al 02-21-2007 04:04 PM

everyone should see it imo..

the sad part is people here have seen shit like that on television for sooo long that we have become desensitized and looks like another movie :disgust

His opinion is completely irrelevant. Google is a company that can do as they please with their servers. If Google doesn't like your scenario, if they felt it would hurt business, they would remove it. The same goes for the videos on there now. They are the only one who has the opinion that matters.

So I think Google should do what they want. Just as I would do what I want with the videos. If people don't like it, think it's disrespectful of Google, then they should boycott Google. There are plenty of search engines on the market. There will always be good and bad things on the net to see.

So you wreckon it's not a censorship stance, it's all about getting eyes to the Google pages?

Personally, I think that while disturbing, it is a Good Thing? at least for the American public, since your media is highly censored and spun anyway. And with American soldiers going around gang raping 14-w/o girls though, then it's almost enough to say bring it on

jwhores 02-22-2007 01:30 AM

This is great to see the other side of the video lens. Its always humvee videos and fucked up u.s. militant shit. The propaganda part is gay tho.

Made me want to fire up Counter Strike and score some headshots from the AWP.

:banana

aico 02-22-2007 02:34 AM

Not that I approve, but I really don't see how that is any different from the videos I've seen from guys in a helicopter ripping dudes apart, or mortars destroying a guy on a roof. All posted by US military.

Pink-AE 02-22-2007 02:39 AM

I watched the entire video. It is disturbing.

How would americans react if an arab country invade america? Would they surrender and accept shiate law? Or would they launch a guerilla war reminicent of the civil war? I am sure it would be the latter. Our western homestead pride is too much to sit back and surrender.

And yet we try to label these people as terrorists for defending their country by what means is possible.

It doesn't make sense. We would do exactly the same in their situation. We would fight. We would be courageous patriots. Martyrs. Yet they are just dirty arab terrorists.

They are people with a value equal to ours. Anyone who thinks different should sit there and watch the entire video, 30+? lives, people who love, are loved and have everything ahead of them being snuffed out like bugs. Then think of the 50,000+ iraqies, many of which non combatants who died likewise dying in this way.

Enjoy your fucking low oil prices.

(I say this as an australian who also has forces in iraq btw and accept the fact we can't control our governments. Sorry for the speech =))

the problem with the media (including Google) is that they are so blinded with the "no censorship" idea that they don't see they are being used by the enemy...

(this is not a pro censoship post, this is a pro responsible media post)

Cyrano 02-22-2007 04:57 AM

What is so shocking or "fucked up" about this video? Juba, and the Islamic Army are simply freedom fighters, resisting enemy occupation. I imagine this reaction would occur in most countries if they were to face the same situation.

Of course he'd say the same thing. That's part of being American. I might not like what you say but I'll fight for you to say it.

KingK7 02-22-2007 05:31 AM

People seem to expect them to surrender without reservation.. even though faced with the same circumstances them would never consider it.

An american resisting occupation in this manner would be a fucking hero. Just watch Mel Gibson in "The patriot" if you dont think so. Rating don't lie.

borked 02-22-2007 06:58 AM

Prince Harry is to serve in Iraq for 6 months

Guess the snipers would love to have him in their sights.

pigbait75 02-22-2007 11:59 AM

Why are our guys just standing there like they're waiting for a table at ruby tuesdays.

The Duck 02-22-2007 12:07 PM

You are French, its in your blood to hate people who are better than you. Which is basically everybody not French. Next time you decide to post terrorist propaganda videos on a bulletin board know that there will be someone like me waiting to call you out on it. I cant wait till those muslim kids in France overthrow your government.
