Epassporte Last 3rd Party Processor in US Online Gambling Market?

Seems that way:

"Following NETeller and MyCitadel puling out of the US online gambling market, nearly every third party payment processor did the same this past month. When all the dust cleared, it seemed as if only one remained: ePassporte."

My prediction: until they do the same they are going to come under a shit storm from US authorities. As well as dealing with a shit load of new customers. No wonder no one can get through. :upsidedow

lol, i got my money out over a month ago and no longer use their services at all... their utter refusal to address the issues about them involving our funds w/ online gambling operations totally leaves me cold. the writing is on the wall obviously, if they had a magical way out of what is shutting down all the other operations i think they would be shouting it from the rooftops and not prtending that nothing is happening in this arena..

:(

Another reason to withdraw everthing as soon as you get paid from a sponsor

shortterm thinking... to make some extra money before they are shutdown (if they keep supporting online gambling that is what will happen, no doubt about it).

Merchant Claims ePassporte Held Over $250K Funds Hostage

http://www.gambling911.com/ePassPorte-021607.html

"They confiscated $250,000 from us for no apparent reason, claiming fraud," said one former online casino operator, who wished to remain anonymous.

:Oh crap

They probably know that they won't be in the game for long term, so they are trying to make as much money as possible before they leave the business. In my opinion, they are done, its just a matter of time. My advise to everyone is dont leave to much money in your epassporte account.

they are a US-based 'reseller for an offshore based bank'.

do you really think that's what they are doing?

scottybuzz 02-22-2007 11:56 AM

I used epass to load poker funds into my pokerstars account few days ago.

what does this mean? is it illegal? i am english remember. will i get my poker funds confiscated because i used a offshore company?

man fuck america with all their stupid laws.

rowan 02-22-2007 01:03 PM

I keep it simple... if it's not an official bank, and it's not within the same legal region that I reside in, I keep the balance as low as possible. For myself, this applies to both paypal and epass. If the latter suddenly goes under then I'll lose $100-$150 max.

cranki 02-22-2007 01:09 PM

I'd be a shame if they went out of business, it's so practically!
