i think americans get confused with poutine..

Poutine is to canada as philly cheesesteaks are to u.s.a.

So its more of a local thing not a country wide thing..

although not sure if thats a fair example as i like poutine but .. lol

where at Juicy??? La Belle Province is good if your in MTL...

funny story about the origin's of the word poutine, Apparently it was actually created by Ontario Truck Drivers passing thru quebec, they would stop at diners and order fries & gravy and then tell the girl at the counter to PUT IN cheeze curds....well the frenchies converted the PUT IN to Poutine and the rest is history....and now i'm hungry and going to get some fackin PUT IN, and maybe then hit Super Sex

Evil E 02-22-2007 10:30 AM

Good idea, i'm craving poutine.

There's a restaurant in almighty Victoriaville that offers some 50 more different kinds of poutine.

Totally wrong.

There are French communities all across Canada, and the love of poutine spreads fast to the english-speaking parts pretty fast.

Did you know that the largest French community west of Quebec is right here in Winnipeg? It's called St. Boniface, and I'm smack in the center of it. And I have news for you... I'm not French (although my family on my dad's side are all from Montreal), I'm an Limey-Irish-Scots mix... and I love a good poutine.

IWantU_Jeff 02-22-2007 12:06 PM
