PasswordByPhone vs. Localbilling
 
There would appear to be some confusion amongst some webmasters as to the USP?s of each of these companies, which this thread seeks to redress.

As far as I am aware, localbilling are a solid company with an excellent product that clients should continue to use since the mechanisms they employ are the best for billing monthly subscriptions.

Our core focus, however, is and remains phone billing - whereby surfers worldwide are invited to buy a password using their phone or cell that will grant them access to your sites for a significantly lesser time duration of your choosing.

Localbilling does not support phone billing, just like we do not support card or banking billing.

Therefore, when deciding which processor to choose, it is not a case of choosing one or the other. Since we both demonstrate strength in our respective fields within the processing space, you can offer both.

I don't personally have experience working with localbilling, but have been using Password by Phone for our phone billing for several months now, with fantastic results. We're actually in the process of working with them to make international versions of our entire site tours to help further increase our phone rev.

Smashbucks works with both companies. I personally oversaw the integrations with our nats system for LB and PBP and both companies support staff were AAA+++ on the setups and continue to offer virtually 24/7 support although we have not required it. Best of all, we're making sales for our affiliates in countries we previously could not bill and are really pleased with the results.

We are having great results with PasswordByPhone and have launched a programme called Paycallnet designing to capitalise on their geo-ip billing technology with global reach.

But... anybody knows how to get reply from LB? :)
I'm trying to get some info from them but it is hell difficult when they do not answer ICQ :(
Possibly you could advice me with "live" contacts?
