If you are an affiliate or thinking of being one, take some security checks!

1. Install Zango and other similar scumware in your computer. Be sure you know how to uninstall it later!
2. Check all your links to your sponsors and make sure your affiliate code is on the landing page(s), and no popups or popunders without your code.
3. Check your sponsors site for traffic leaks, i.e. banners without your code in the links' url.
4. Check this and other forums for those direct or indirect defending sponsors using Zango or other scumware. Try to figure out if they are sponsors or resellers for sponsors. Those sponsors are to be avoided!

I'm writing this as Zango is worse than ever. After launching a new site, in a for me new niche, I found out that Zango takes 10% of the traffic! And it is high quality traffic as it is search engine traffic, they have clicked my links!
