WoW that sucks. His HBO special is one of my favorite stand-ups and of course he was also in one of my favorite movies (The Mask). He looks terrible in that pic with Chris Rock. Too bad all that talent went to waist, not to mention what his family must be going through. RIP

Crazy... I saw his show about 2 months ago...

He did seem a bit jaded... Like he didn't feel he was hitting his potential but I don't think he even realized how good he was doing and how well people perceived him.

he was a great standup comedian, one of the grunt guys who became the king of the comedy club comedians, think he won the major award for standup comics a few times - but never made the jump to superstardom in TV and movies like some of the guys he started with. most comedians have major psychological problems - that's what makes most of them the funny people they are. to blow your head off - you have to be really tortured and angry at yourself and life to go that way.

My ex/father of my older boy shot himself in the head about 8 years ago...he was just flat out crazy as a fucking loon though.
